As most of you are aware the 2010 winter Olympics will be partially hosted in the Resort Municipality of Whistler this coming winter. This has created much excitement and equal speculation as to the expectations for this event. As such, for Coast Range Heliskiing this poses significant challenges to our heliski operations for the 2010 winter season. It has been communicated to Coast Range Heliskiing by Olympic personnel that imposed security parameters regulating airspace and aircraft will be in effect. To the best of our ability we have deemed these imposed regulations as insurmountable by CRH operations. Through legal council Coast Range Heliskiing has attempted to engage Olympic personnel and government agencies to receive more formal direction on such imposed regulations and resolution for operations. To date we have received minimal response and assistance. At this time we have had no choice but to suspend our heliski operations for the 2010 winter season.
We would like to thank all our past and future customers and our business associates for joining us, planning to join us and working with us to provide a world class heliski experience. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and the inability of Coast Range Heliskiing to deliver a heliski product to our guests for the coming 2010 winter season. All staff and guides at CRH look forward to continuing operations and servicing our guests under a more normal operating environment for the 2011 winter season. We look forward to seeing you then.
